Hypnosis is a state of mind that allows you to communicate directly with your subconscious mind; the place where learning and changes can easily be made.
I will be your guide, leading you to your subconscious, where I can help you make the changes you want, recall things of the past, imagine your future more clearly, and or so much more...
I can't make you do things you don't want to do, and likewise, you have to sincerely want to make the changes that can be made using hypnotherapy.
You will remain in control during your session. Even though you may go into a deeper level of consciousness, you will have the ability to speak or take other action if you want or need to.
What does it feel like?
Have you ever fallen asleep in front of the TV and then woken up just enough to hear it and realize that you should shut it off and go to bed, but instead you decided to just let it go and sleep a little longer? Technically that was a hypnotic state. You had shut down your conscious ("critical mind") and let it go. Hypnosis is about slowing down the brain waves to that state where the critical mind no longer overrides things that you might want to change. In this state your mind is much more open to learning and receiving new input.
